the team

We only employ physiotherapists and osteopaths who are experienced clinical practitioners and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the General Osteopathic Council. We provide a broad range of high quality diagnostic and treatment skills for an extensive array of musculoskeletal problems, including sports and work related injuries. All chartered physiotherapists and osteopaths are governed by strict rules and a professional code of conduct. Perhaps most importantly for our clients, all members of the Agility Healthcare Clinic team regularly attend postgraduate courses in order to introduce new and up-to-date treatment techniques to our patients.

We have a small, yet selective team of pracitioners with a set of common goals:

  • It's about you, not us!
  • We want you symptom free! If we can't achieve this we will put you in the hands of someone who can, e.g. an orthopaedic surgeon.
  • We will get grumpy (with ourselves) if you come back with the same symptoms.
  • We promise, simply, to get you much better.

Mr Tim Eden

Physiotherapist

Tim is a former English Schools Sailing Team member and GB Youth Swimming Squad member. This in turn set him up perfectly for a career in sport and physiotherapy.

Tim studied for a degree in Sport & Excercise Science at Brighton University before undertaking a Physiotherapy degree at Brunel University, West London.

On graduation, Tim entered the NHS completing all his clinical rotations and specialising in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. In the meantime he became increasingly involved in sport physiotherapy. He worked up through the ranks at many emerging rugby clubs and entered many committees as a medical and education advisor. Between 2000 and 2002, Tim worked as London Wasps RFU full time medical coordinator and first team physio. He is currently Worthing RFC’s senior physio.

Tim has a proven track record in the NHS, private practice and in the sports arena to be a great physio with all the necessary skills to provide a exceptional service. We at Agility Healthcare Clinic are pleased to have him on board to head up our physiotherapy services here.

Tim has a special interest in biomechanics, excercise physiology, medical acupuncture, spinal pain and sport/excercise therapy.

Mr Dean Dickinson

Osteopath

Dean undertook a degree in osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) and a postgraduate diploma at the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy, Maidstone (JWCCO). This has allowed strict entry onto the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

Dean has undertaken many other courses around the UK, USA and Europe in classical osteopathic philosophy & technique and cranial & visceral technique from teachers all over the world. He has chaired the ICO Conference on Mechanics of Posture and has been lecturing both undergraduates and postgraduates on Technique and Classical Osteopathic Philosophy. Dean recently left his undergraduate osteopathic technique lecturer post at SIOM to allow him to undertake another physical therapy degree at Brunel University, West London.

Dean has run a successful multi-disciplinary clinic in Orpington, Kent before deciding to setup home and clinic in sunny Worthing. He has gained a reputation quickly amongst health visitors and midwives as one of very few practicioners locally proficient in paediatric osteopathy.

Dean has undertaken many further postgraduate qualifications in paediatric health, cranial osteopathy medical acupuncture, excercise therapy, electrotherapy, pilates and swiss ball training. It is Dean’s desire to set up a clinic in Worthing of truly exceptional practicioners with one common goal - to provide excellent service to aid your recovery as quickly as possible.
